We need to come together to remove Cannabis control.

 

The evidence is overwhelming that Cannabis can relieve certain types of pain, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms caused by such illnesses as multiple sclerosis, cancer and AIDS — or by the harsh drugs sometimes used to treat them. And it can do so with remarkable safety. Indeed, marijuana is less toxic than many of the drugs that physicians prescribe every day.

Of course, there are people out there who no matter what actual data says, they will choose to believe the old time brain washing that smoking pot is a gateway to heavy drug use.  It really is inconsequential what is believed. Many states have grow operations, dispensaries and the doctors that prescribe Cannabis to address illnesses of many varieties. When it comes to medical marijuana, we seem to have a breakthrough in understanding its benefits. There is really no difference between a doctor prescribing morphine for pain or prescribing medical Cannabis for pain. Doctors should not be punished for prescribing Cannabis in a way that is appropriate.
