Several months ago, Sativa Magazine provided our readers with a product review on two publications by Green Candy Press. We’re happy to once again have the opportunity to review another Green Candy Press publication, Cannabis Indica, The Essential Guide to the World’s Finest Marijuana Strains, Volume 3 by S.T. Oner. From here on out, I’ll refer to the title as Cannabis Indica Vol. 3 for short.

 

Inside the covers of Cannabis Indica Vol. 3 readers will find 100 great indica strains from some of the world’s best breeders. Cannabis connoisseur S.T. Oner has compiled this ganga guide with great detail put into each strain listed. All 100 strains are accompanied by a full-page photo showing her off in all her glory.

 

To give you an example of what can be expected, I randomly thumbed to page 124, Maffy Gold.  Beginning with information regarding the breeder, their origin, S.T. Oner then describes certain characteristics specific to Maffy Gold and gives a great description of her buds as well as what she smells like. He then goes into detail about what type of buzz can be expected when consuming Maffy Gold as well as her medical benefits. Left center of every strain page, there is a highlighted box with the breeder’s name, genetics, potency and website(s).

 

S.T. Oner states it best in his Preface: “These books are an indicator of just how far we’ve come, but they are also a stark reminder of how far we still need to go.” When he says, “these books,” Cannabis Indica Vol. 3 is one of five strain guides (three indica and two sativa).

 

Cannabis consumers love variety and breeders search for the best mate to match their girls up to in order to produce specific traits in a Cannabis strain. In my opinion, Cannabis Indica Vol. 3 (or any volume for that matter) would be a perfect resource for that search. This book should be in all dispensaries, head shops and on book shelves all around!

 

We applaud Green Candy Press, for their commitment to publishing books that are targeted to a quickly expanding audience of Cannabis consumers and educated ganjapreneurs.
